Building a new office block

We have a big site at work but after the company expanded we were running very short on office space. Most of our accounts team was in a demountable office and they were really hot in summer and cold in winter. It was so much better for the whole team once we got the new office block built on site. This blog talks about the process of building a new office block, including the design and construction of a block for your team. I hope it will be useful for anyone looking to build a new office block on their site.

ISRI Parts You Should Have on Hand But Probably Don't

Troy Medina

If you use ISRI truck parts, then you likely already have several backup parts and supplies on hand. These parts are usually larger parts, such as truck seats. You may also have spare parts for repairs that need to be done onsite. Though you may believe you have everything you need in the way of replacement and other ISRI parts, you may still be missing a few items. Here are three ISRI parts you should have on hand and why.

Seat Covers

You may not think of seat covers when you think of ISRI parts, but they are something you may want to have on hand. Though one of the reasons is for comfort of your drivers and workers, there are other reasons to consider. The seat cover protects the inner workings of the truck seats and parts. It helps protects the filling, the springs, and other mechanics of the seats. If the covers are ripped or removed, then the springs are exposed to weather conditions and could rust or break. This means you will need to replace the entire seat.

Mounting Brackets

You may have a large variety of nuts, bolts and ISRI parts within your supplies. What you may not think about are the actual mounting brackets of the truck seats. These mounting brackets can be a vital addition to your parts supplies. If you have a truck seat repair that needs to happen onsite and quickly, you may find during the replacement of the seat that the mounting brackets are the issue. If you have these on hand, you can complete the repair and swap out the items needed. If you don't have the brackets, you may not be able to make the repair for a day or longer depending on how fast you can order and obtain the brackets locally or online.

Harnesses

Harnesses are another ISRI part that many people don't consider having on hand. There are several reasons to have extra harnesses on hand. One of the main reasons is due to the liability and safety of having a suitable harness in your truck fleet. If something happens to the harness, making it unsafe for use, then you will want to have a new harness on hand to make the repair quickly. Keep in mind that if the harnesses of the truck are unsafe, you may not be able to legally operate the truck until they are fixed due to insurance and safety concerns.

These are only three of the ISRI parts you should consider having on hand, in addition to your current parts supplies. If you need to order any of these, or other parts, contact your local ISRI supplier. They can help with pricing, ordering and any questions you may have.
